About Gina

Giving with Passion

I was born In Belgrade Serbia , but have lived in Nigeria during my early childhood, when this country was one of the  British Colonies in Africa.

Very early in life, before the age of 6 I told my parents I wanted to get a "licence to help animals " as I knew there was a form of licence - but I was too young to know this licence meant a veterinary degree.

When I was around 4 or 5 years old, I was nipped by our own family dog on my face, but then - I knew I made a mistake, and I lied to my parents - that I fell "on a small stone that made a mark on my face" so they don't punish the dog. They knew I was lying and they didn't do anything to our dog and I was relieved and acknowledged what happened.

In my preschool times - I used to spend time in the stables and talk to the horses that were used to work and the cows that were sharing the space. I cold winter times, it was a warm place to be, I would make up stories and talk to the large animals. My mum used to call me and always tell me I needed to socialize more with people. The cows would moo and the horses would neigh if I would go out with my mum - as they have listened to my stories and called back for my company.

In a large polo club , I have gone to see the polo stables and I spoke to one polo horse. My parents have thought that I have gotten lost and have alarmed the whole club. They found me in front of a horse they called "dangerous", but I was convincing everybody how friendly he was, as he "told me that'.

I always knew I was going to help animals in my lifetime.

I am slightly more fascinated by canines as a subspecies of the wolf.

That should say enough about me.
